This notice explains how Wevanta Infotech Private Limited (“Wevanta”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data through this WI-Solar CRM early-access website (the “Site”). WI-Solar CRM is a pre-launch product under planning and development; this Site exists to collect applications from businesses interested in a potential pilot.

2. What we collect
Information you provide in the application form
- Full name, business email address and mobile number
- Company or business name and business type
- Approximate number of installed solar systems you manage
- How you currently track service work
- Your interest in a paid pilot, and any challenge you choose to describe
- Your privacy consent and the date and time of submission
Please do not include sensitive personal data, or personal data about your customers, in the free-text field.
Information collected automatically
- Campaign information: if you arrive through a link containing campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content), those values and the page address are sent with your application so we know which advertisement or link brought you here. These values are kept in your browser’s session storage only until you close the tab, and only if they were present in the link.
- Meta Pixel (if enabled): we may use the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms to measure visits to this Site and completed applications from our advertisements. When enabled, Meta may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser details, the pages you view and cookie identifiers, and may combine it with information it holds about you under Meta’s own privacy policy. We do not send your form answers to Meta.
- Technical data: like any website, our hosting provider and the font provider (Google Fonts) receive your IP address and browser information when you load pages.
3. Why we use it
- To review your early-access application and contact you about WI-Solar CRM, a potential paid pilot, its scope, availability and terms.
- To understand demand for the product and decide which features to build first.
- To measure the performance of our advertising campaigns.
- To prevent spam and misuse of the form.
We process the data you submit on the basis of the consent you give when you tick the consent box, in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We will not use your details to send unrelated marketing, and we do not sell personal data.
4. Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to operate this Site. They process data on our behalf or under their own terms:

Some of these providers may process data outside India. We may also disclose data where required by law.
5. How long we keep it
We keep application details for as long as needed to evaluate demand and discuss a potential pilot with you, and in any case for no longer than 24 months from your last communication with us, unless you become a customer under separate terms or the law requires us to keep it longer. You can ask us to delete your details sooner at any time.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can:
- ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
- ask us to correct, complete or update it;
- ask us to erase it;
- withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect processing already carried out); and
- raise a grievance with us, and, if not resolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.
To exercise any of these rights or raise a grievance, email hello@wevantainfotech.com with the subject “WI-Solar CRM — Privacy request”. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
7. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we receive, such as limiting access to the inbox where applications arrive. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
This Site does not set its own advertising cookies. If the Meta Pixel is enabled, Meta may set cookies to measure advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and manage ad preferences in your Meta account settings. The Site works without them.
9. Children
This Site is intended for businesses. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the product develops. The effective date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
